See every step of my creative journey on Patreon
Patreon is a platform where people can support the artists they love. For example, I support musicians, dancers, and anti–racist activists on Patreon.
If you want to support me and the regular creative work that I do, joining me on Patreon would be a great way to do that!
Every week I make a video for a song I love and I post it online for free. I want everyone to be able to access my music, but I also want to be able to pay my rent and buy vegan groceries, which is where this Patreon scheme comes in.
You pick the amount
You decide whatever amount you want to contribute every month. Times are hard right now and I get it! If you do have the means to support an independent musician, though, I am pretty sure that the good feels you get from supporting an artist rise exponentially with the amount that you contribute. 🙂
But maybe you are still wondering: Hey what’s in it for me?
Ukulele tabs, eh?
Patreon is the only place—other than scheduling one-on-one time with me in a private ukulele lesson—where you can get access to the tabs that I make for my ukulele arrangements. I don’t distribute these anywhere else! Join my Patreon now at any monetary level (your enjoyment of the tabs and the love you send is directly related to the donation level, I hear) and get instant access to the ukulele tabs I have shared. All the good feels accompanied with supporting an independent musician and her small pets are a bonus.
Donating = loving!
This is something that Maria Popova says (she runs a site called Brain Pickings). Do you love the work that I do? I don’t have a record label, a manager, an assistant: I am a one-woman show, especially during the pandemic. I spend hours learning these tunes, polishing them, recording them, and later editing the videos and distributing them. It is a labor of love and if you can feel the love and can donate even a small amount it really goes a long way.
Want to make a one-time donation instead?
Oh my gosh thank you so much! You can do so with PayPal or Venmo @Sage-Harrington.
