Cherry blossoms bloom in springtime
And I’ll eat apples in the fall
But this, of course, means nothing

I’ll spoon you the strongest dose

What’s this? I can see
Wheat that’s green and red cherry trees
Bushes ripe with blackberries
And primrose beds in which we can sleep

Come with me and you can see
Fairies having their noon-time tea
Sipping sweet juices of blackberries
Consorting with nymphs and kissing cherries

Hey, come on
Let’s go on a little trip
Let’s take a long walk through those trees
Take a little nip of this

Doves and does are on my side, dear
Cupid’s bow will never cure
The love that will surround you
And that from me you’ll endure

I want to see you smile
Happy ’cause you’re holding me so close
